Architecture and Construction
The Architecture and Construction Career Cluster focuses on preparing students for employment in careers that relate to the designing, planning, managing, building, and maintaining the constructed environment.
There are three Career Pathways offered through this career cluster which include:
Senior students who participate in this pathway have the opportunity to build a residential home on site from start to finish in one school year while earning concurrent enrollment at Utah Valley University. Fall semester covers concrete and framing while spring semester covers interior finishes. Students who are interested in this hands-on capstone course can find more information here.
Job opportunities for qualified construction workers and construction managers are expected to be good. Specifically, those with a bachelor’s degree in construction science, construction management, or civil engineering, coupled with construction experience, will have the best job prospects.

SkillsUSA is an extracurricular organization made up of students, teachers and industry representatives working together to ensure America has a skilled workforce. Technology Student Association (TSA)
The Technology Student Association is the extracurricular organization for students engaged in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). TSA is open to students enrolled in or who have completed technology education courses. TSA is supported by educators, parents and business leaders who believe in the need for a technologically literate society. Members learn through exciting competitive events, leadership opportunities and much more. The diversity of activities makes TSA a positive experience for every student.
