Congratulations to Glen Bailey who was awarded the Utah Association for Career and Technical Education’s Administrator of the Year for the 2017-18 school year.    Glen was selected by his peers from all Career and Technical Education (CTE) administrators in the state of Utah.
Glen has been the Alpine School District Assistant CTE Director for the past eleven years and was an assistant principal at Canyon View and Lakeridge Junior High Schools prior to his district assignment.  He has served on numerous district and state committees and currently represents the region serving on the state’s Skill Certification Committee.
Glen has been an invaluable asset to the school district and specifically to the CTE Department and it’s the students.  He is a champion of the individual and is passionate about providing all students the opportunity to excel, which is exemplified by his support of “his” CTE teachers and programs.  Alpine School District is fortunate have him on our team.
As Utah’s Administrator of the Year, he will now represent the state at the regional and national levels where he will be considered for their administrator of the year awards.
Glen will be presented his award in the association’s state-wide conference to be held February 2-3 at Jordan High School.
